About the Wutta Project

Wutta Project is a collection of Python packages and related software, meant to allow for fast creation of custom apps.

This is not a "new" project per se, rather it is a distillation of certain patterns which were developed within the Rattail Project.

But whereas the Rattail Project had "retail" as its primary focus, the Wutta Project has no such focus. It tries to stay slim and provide only the things which might be useful in "any" context.

So, some of the code has a years-long lineage at this point (the Rattail Project having begun in 2010); however the Wutta Project is a new effort (started 2023) which aims to "solidify" the good patterns, with better documentation and 100% test coverage.
